Ugandan Child

One Pencil Changes Everything

Jessica has lost both of her parents to AIDS and she is now cared for by an elderly and frail grandmother. They scrape through life, producing their own food in a small garden and praying for good weather to produce a bumper crop. The local church school will educate her for free but she needs her own equipment. Jessica has no pencils and no money to buy them. The children at The King's School in Witney are changing that! They are sending out pencil cases for Jessica and her friends so that they can go to school.

See how you can help children in Uganda.
