Giving to Children in Uganda

It is easy to give to Helping Hands and begin to change a child’s life. Thanks to countless volunteers we have made sure that 99p of every pound given turns into something or someone who will benefit the children in Uganda. Only £6 will provide a child with a mosquito net which will keep them safe every night from malaria whilst £21 per month will guarantee one of the more vulnerable children in our care free healthcare, education and family support. By Text up to £10 only

Just text HAND10 £ (amount in figures) to 70070 and courtesy of Vodafone we will receive the whole sum free of charge. You will be sent a link by which you can add gift aid if you are a UK tax payer.

Simply write a cheque payable to 'Helping Hands' and send it to us at Helping Hands, PO Box 853, Oxford, OX1 9LZ. If you are a UK tax payer you can download a gift aid form and let the government add 22% to your gift at no cost to you. Download here.

I’d like to give regularly

Many of our friends like to give monthly and know that they are ensuring ongoing care to the children. Simply download the standing order form, fill it in and return to the address on the form. I’d like to give but I can’t give much

Many of our Helping Hands’ friends multiply their giving by fund raising whether that is a sponsored event or a party or a good old cake sale. Whatever you plan to do we’d like to help you as much as we can with advice and a few useful resources.

Shop online and raise cash (EASY)

Easy Fundraising provides a FREE service where you can shop with your favourite online stores at no extra cost and raise funds for Helping Hands. You still shop directly with each retailer as you would normally, but simply by using the links from their site first, each purchase you make will generate a cash-back donation to us. For example, make any purchase from Amazon and 2.5% will be donated or purchase a mobile phone from O2 and earn £17.50, and so on. Click here to register with us.
