Be a Helping Hands’ Time Giver

Helping Hands aims to use as much of every pound given in helping the children in Uganda. Time Givers help us do just that by offering to be an 'extra pair of hands' from time to time. It involves four steps:

1. Contact us and let us know your name and how to get in touch with you
2. When we have a need we will ask you if you can help us on this occasion
3. Say 'yes' if you can help and 'no' if you are unable to help this time
4. Click the big @ button to email us

Meet a couple of our Time Givers

We have a growing group of friends who give time like Sally, Clara and Liz. Sally leads a busy life, working in a local primary school and running an active family. In between all of this she gives Helping Hands a few Saturday mornings each year to help on our Craft Stalls. Clara is Sally’s teenage daughter and she runs our Facebook Group in between studying for her GCSEs. Liz is a retired teacher, enjoying a different pace of life (although not all of the time!) She helps us each Christmas to process the Alternative Gift orders and runs one of our sales. With their help we can do far more than would otherwise be possible at busy times of the year.
