Health Lessons in Schools

Helping Hands has devised its own material for nursery aged children. It has taken the essential health messages and put them in three series of lessons which involve story, role play, games and quizzes. The lessons equip the children with an attitude which says “I can and I will do something about this problem because I know that I am worth it!” This is foundational to them building in the knowledge and skills needed to tackle the diseases and threats which they face in daily life.

Lessons focus on fighting malaria, practising good hygiene, immunisation, wounds and sexual abuse. These may be requested free of charge from our office – all we ask is that you tell us what you would like to do with them and give us some feed-back on how helpful they were.

For futher information please click to contact the office.
