Helping Hands works with children in the UKHelping Hands works with children in the UK to help them to understand how their peers in Uganda live and then to respond to that in a way that is appropriate. Often through school links this will involve fund-raising for something specific like mosquito nets or a latrine. Many times this will also involve the exchange of letters and cards between the children. There is a dedicated junior site run by teenagers called TOP BANANAS. Recently Helping Hands has worked together with Viva Network on a school project to help UK children learn about other children in the world and how they can pray for them and begin to help practically. Our lesson resources can be requested from our office in a draft form at this time. Click to contact our office.
